My name is Bev and I am Stephanie's sister. On Saturday June 14th my brother in law Darren went to the ER for a severe toothache, fever chills, and just wasnt feeling well. He was admitted and started on antibiotics. Sunday things were looking pretty well and we thought he would be coming home on Monday then things turned for the worse. Monday late afternoon he was transferred to ICU and within a couple hours was put on a ventilator due to swelling of the throat and neck. He got a mass under his tongue that was full of infection. Tuesday he went into surgery to drain the infection from the mass. We had hopes this was going to be the answer we needed to get him on the mend, that hasn't happened yet. The swelling still hasn't went down so they still cannot remove the breathing tube due to the fear of his throat swelling shut and not being able to get the tube back in. He is fighting hard to get the tube out as he misses his kids and just wants to see them and be able to get back to their normal busy lives. He is very involved in both kids sports and that is his what makes him the happiest.

I am asking for help just to get them through with their mortgage, car payments for a month or so until they both can get back to work. Anything extra will be used for medical.bills that the insurance doesn't cover. Anything helps and if you can't afford to help we understand we just ask you keep us in your prayers.

I do have the bank information for the vehicle payments and the mortgage if you are more comfortable just making a donation right to one of those bills. Stephanie does have venmo as well if you prefer that as well.
