Darren is a Desert Storm War Veteran who has always put others before himself. Throughout his life, he has shown a giving and helping nature, opening his home and heart to those in need. I am one of the many people Darren has helped—he took me in when I was struggling with alcoholism, supporting me through physical and emotional rehabilitation. His determination and kindness gave me the strength to reclaim my life, and I am forever grateful for the second chance he gave me.

Now, Darren is facing some of the toughest challenges of his life. He is struggling with health issues and PTSD as a result of his service. Recently, Darren was arrested and, although he is not the guilty party, he has taken the charges upon himself.
