Hello everyone my name is Amity Garfield. Darren Garfield is my father. Our family is heartbroken as we prepare to say goodbye to our beloved father. He is currently on a ventilator, and we are transitioning him to comfort care today.

Our dad is a father of 6 and a proud grandfather, known for his big, loving heart and adventurous spirit. He was truly a people person who loved the outdoors and embraced every moment of life. His greatest wish is to be brought back home to the reservation in McDermitt so he can rest in peace surrounded by his roots.

We are asking for help to cover the costs of transporting him back to the reservation and for funeral expenses. Any amount, no matter how small, will help us honor his final wishes and give him the goodbye he deserves. Prayers are welcomed as well.
