We are hoping to raise funds for one of our best friends who is experiencing financial ruin due to needing surgery on his spine and back.

Our friend Darrell has worked hard his whole life and is 64 years old. He was still working up until today, and while he was working, he was in agony all day long. He would actually scream every time his dump truck went over a bump because it was very, very painful. He attempted to go to work yesterday and managed to make it through the whole day; however, that only made him worse, and now he is out of work until his surgery on October 30, 2025 and after the surgery Darrell will have to endure another 8 weeks of recovery, including intense physical therapy.

Darrell begged his Neurosurgeon to get him in sooner, not only to resolve his pain but so he can get back to work sooner and support his wife and son. Darrell is a wonderful person, a hard worker, and someone whom we are blessed to call our friend. Darrell will be out of work for 6 weeks prior to the surgery and for 8 weeks following his surgery. He doesn't live large, and we would like him to know just how many wonderful people there are in the State of North Carolina and around the globe. We understand that times are tough and want you to know that every donation helps whether large or small.

Darrell's back and spine issues began many years ago when he was a Professional NWA Wrestler and a Smokey Mountain Wrestler. Eventually Darrell became a Smokey Mountain Referee!

So anyone out there who would like to help this man, it would be very much appreciated, and all the funds raised will go to Darrell for his medical bills and loss of pay due to medical issues beyond his control.

We have created this fundraiser to support Darrell and his loved ones, namely his wife and 8 year old son, during this financial hardship and to help them with any "unexpected" expenses.
