It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our friend and teammate, Darrell Howard. Darrell was more than just our dishwasher at Burlington Beer Works—he was part of the heartbeat of our kitchen and a beloved member of our restaurant family. As the uncle to our Executive Chef, Heather Leonard, Darrell brought his own unique brand of humor, sarcasm, and a bit of grumpy charm that kept us all laughing, even on the busiest days.

We will miss his quick wit, his steady presence, and the way he could make us roll our eyes and smile at the same time. Darrell gave so much to our team, and now we want to give back to him and his family in their time of need.

We are raising funds to help cover Darrell’s funeral expenses, easing the burden for his loved ones as they navigate this difficult time. Any amount, no matter how small, will go directly to his family to ensure he is honored and remembered with the dignity he deserves.
