Help Support My Dad, Darrell Conner, in His Fight Against Cancer

My name is DarrellConnerJr, and I’m writing this on behalf of my father, Darrell Conner. This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to share. My dad has spent more than 20 years working as a correctional officer, dedicating his life to serving and protecting others. To me, he’s not just an officer—he’s the strongest man I know, a father of three, and a loving grandpa who lights up whenever he’s with his family.

Recently, our world was turned upside down when my dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 prostate cancer that has spread to his bones. Hearing those words broke something inside all of us. The treatments are intense, the pain is constant, and the emotional and financial strain is more than our family ever imagined.

My dad has always been the one who showed up for everyone else. He’s worked hard his entire life, rarely asked for anything, and always found a way to take care of his family. Asking for help is not in his nature—but right now, he needs support, and as his family, we’re doing everything we can to make sure he gets it.

The funds raised will go directly toward his medical treatments, specialist visits, travel, medications, and the many unexpected expenses that come with fighting advanced cancer. Every donation, big or small, means the world to us and helps take some of the weight off his shoulders during the hardest fight of his life.
