Hi guys! Everyone who knows me, knows Ceges. Ceges and I have been best friends since 2000. In the past 25 years, we've have had many laughs, celebrations and unfortunately heart breaks. One of the biggest heart breaks thus far, has been her struggles with infertility. One being a miscarriage in 2010 and another losing their son, Liam, in 2012 at just one month old after being born at 23 weeks gestation.

After countless hopes and heartbreaks, they’re finally beginning their IUI/IVF journey. IUI/IVF is an emotional and financial challenge. If you’re able, any support—whether through donation or sharing their story—would mean the world to them. Together, we can help give them the opportunity to welcome a child. Thank you for supporting their journey to becoming parents.

A few words from Ceges:

"We would like to start by introducing ourselves. We are Darrell and Ceges Bailey and have been married for 16 years. Over the course of those 16 years, we've battled infertility. I have PCOS and Darrell has unexplained male infertility. We've dealt with a miscarriage in 2010 and suffered a devastating loss in 2012 due to a premature birth. We have certainly had a tough time, but have decided ro seek treatment from the West Virginia Fertility Institute.

We are looking at 3 possible rounds of IUI, before moving to IVF if needed. Our insurance is not covered for WVFI and only covers diagnostic services anyway. Every appointment, medication or testing has basically been paid out-of-pocket. So far, we have paid out about $2,000. Each session of IUI will cost $1,300-$1,800. I will also have to have ultrasounds to see which ovary is ovulating due to a blocked fallopian tube on one side. There will be two medications that I will have to take. Luckily one is covered by insurance so the cost is only $10, but the trigger shot for ovulation is $150 and is needed for each session. We hope that one of the IUI sessions will be successful and we won't need to pursue IVF.

We want to thank everyone for taking the time to read our story. We'll be sure to keep everyone updated with our progress. Your support means more to us than you'll ever know!"
