GET A GIRL HOME!!!! I am doing this fundraiser for a good friend, Darlene Mitchell. She has had some major health issues, a stroke, and a broken hip. She was far away when she broke her hip and has been mostly alone and longing to come home. To do that, she had to add a stair lift to her home. As some of you might know, that is a huge expense, but in order to come home, it is a necessity. They won't release her without it because her house is a tri-level. Stairs everywhere. This will also give her some mobility and independence. With her being retired, her income is limited. She is with her daughter Julie, who helps in her daily care but also has to work full-time. This money will specifically go to Darlene for the stair lift and to get her to her home sweet home. Please, any amount will help bring our girl home.

Darlene worked for Midlothian School District for years and has many friends that are missing their bestie. She was a buddy to all the kids. She ended her time at 143 as a librarian, a job which she loved! She loved reading to the kids and loved her job! Please, I know it is close to the holidays and money is tight, but think of Darlene, alone in rehab. Be her St. Nick! PLEASE!
