Hi guys happy new year to everyone……. I am starting this go fund me for a good friend of my families and my long time co-worker, her name is Darlene Dearstyne . Unfortunately Darlene has to begin the fight of her life and fight cancer . She started having symptoms a few months ago from not being able to eat without pain to blood in her urine and very bad abdominal pain and even more . So after over 30 different appointments and 3 hospital stays this led her to the diagnosis of Ovarian cancer . The cancer has spread to her omental. Which now developed cancer in that body part. The cancer has also caused hyhenal hernia as well as gastroparesis which means her stomach is unable to digest food and go through her small intestines. Her surgery is scheduled for January 27th at St. Peters in Albany. Once they get in if the cancer didn't spread anymore they will do a full hysterectomy as well as removal of her omental and continue with chemotherapy. If spread they will close her up and start chemo first then do surgery after. Darlene is in need of our help and support since she won’t be able to continue working. Please find it in your hearts to help support her fight against cancer and help her stay afloat and not lose everything during this fight .
