Darlene Whiteman is my dear friend, and she recently experienced a heartbreaking loss. After a year of caring for her partner, Brad Colvin, through his courageous fight with COPD/Emphysema, Darlene said goodbye to the love of her life on Saturday, December 20th. Throughout Brad’s illness, Darlene devoted herself to his care, which meant she was unable to work as much as she needed. This has left her in a difficult financial position, especially now as she faces the unexpected costs of Brad’s funeral.

Darlene has always been someone who gives her all to those she loves, and now she needs our help. The expenses of saying goodbye to Brad have added up quickly, and the family is reaching out to the community for support. Every donation, no matter the size, will help ease the burden on Darlene and allow her to focus on healing and remembering Brad without the added stress of financial worry.
