Support Darlene Stoltzfus in Her Fight Against Cancer
For over 16 years, Darlene Stoltzfus has been a beacon of love, creativity, and dedication at Trinity Episcopal Day School. As an early childhood educator, she has nurtured countless young minds, fostering a sense of wonder and joy in learning. Her impact extends far beyond the classroom, creating a community that feels more like family.
Now, Darlene faces her toughest battle yet. After living courageously with breast cancer since her first diagnosis in 2006, she has faced multiple recurrences over the years. Most recently, the cancer has returned to her lungs and possibly her brain, requiring more extensive treatments and care. This has led Darlene to make the difficult decision to retire early, leaving behind a career and community she treasures.
Darlene's letter to our community reflects her gratitude and unwavering love for her students, families, and colleagues. However, stepping away from work also means stepping into financial uncertainty while she prioritizes her health. Medical expenses, specialized treatments, and the costs of daily living are mounting, and this is where we can come together to support her.
How You Can Help
We are raising funds to help alleviate the financial burden on Darlene and her family during this challenging time. Your donation will contribute directly to:
- Medical bills, treatment costs, and travel expenses
- Daily living expenses as she focuses on recovery
- Giving her the peace of mind to prioritize her health
