Hi All,

Our Uncle Terry has been battling brain cancer for the past three years next month. Thankfully, he is currently in remission, but the tumors are still there, lying dormant.

Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse on the July 9th when Terry rolled out of his bed, putting him in the emergency room. There, they discovered he had several broken ribs. He was sent home with medications and to rest.

On July 12th, Terry was experiencing extreme pain and returned to the hospital where he was kept for an overnight stay and further observation.

Last Friday, July 18th, Terry unfortunately experienced a severe stroke that has left him paralyzed on the left side and with minimal speech. After many tests, Dr’s advised that his vital organs are filled with fluid and that there is nothing more the medical team can do at this time.

Terry is currently on comfort care with no medical intervention; being sedated with powerful medications to keep him comfortable until it is time for him to be reunited with his son, Little Terry, TJ, in heaven.

We are asking for the community's help to rally around Aunt Darlene during this very difficult time.

Finances are extremely hard, and as most of you know, Darlene is not one to ask for help. She is always the one who will do anything she can for her friends, family, and community. It’s our time to help her and let her have one less thing to worry about.

Darlene has spent her life selflessly helping others, volunteering countless hours raising money for the American Cancer Society.

Donations will be used for current hospital bills, hospice care and future memorial costs, cremation, and any other additional expenses to come up.
