Firestorm is organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Darin Banks' family as they navigate this difficult time.
On Friday, May 6th, Firestorm Firefighter Darin Banks, of Red Bluff, California, tragically died after being struck by a dead tree that unexpectedly fell. Darin was assigned to a Type II Initial Attack Hand Crew working to prepare an area for prescribed burning in Tuolumne County.
Darin was 26 years old. He leaves behind his 4 year-old son, mother, siblings, grandparents, great-grandparents and many other friends and family members who loved him. Firestorm will share more information on this page regarding services as soon as it is available.
