In January, Darik was chosen for an experimental trial using a cutting-edge tumor-activated T-cell engager, one of the latest advances in immunotherapy. This treatment comes with serious risks—grueling side effects, long hospital stays, and no guarantees. But the potential reward—more time to live, love, and make memories—makes it worth the fight.

His doctors say he’s the perfect candidate for this trial, and that gives him hope. But with new options come new challenges, and one of those is financial.
