Support Darian's Healing Journey

We decided to start this fundraiser for Darian. Please ready her story and help her in any way you can.

In the early morning of August 16th Darian was attacked by her ex-boyfriend. During the attack he managed to break her jaw in two different places, break 4 teeth down to the root, dislocated her shoulder, and gave her a concussion. With these injuries she had to have jaw surgery which requires her jaw to be wired shut for a minimum of six weeks. After that she will need dental repair done to the teeth that were broken. She will also need physical therapy for her jaw and shoulder.

Besides her physical injuries Darian and her children have experienced mental trauma, where the three of them will need to seek counseling. As of now, she is still in the hospital where they are working to get her pain under control and making sure she is able to do simple day to day tasks for self care. As of now she is dependent on someone, needing help with walking, talking, dressing herself, and showering.

She is expected to be out of work for some time and will need help paying medical bills and everyday expenses. There isn’t a lot of answers right now on the amount of time she will need to heal. As stated above the injuries are quite severe and the long term effects are unknown.

To know Darian is to love her. Her children are what make her world go round and she has a smile that will light up a room. If you are not able to donate please keep her family in your prayers. This will be a very long road of recovery for all of them.
