Hello,

My name is Cameron Wiese and I am making this on behalf of my parents, Daren and Beth Wiese.

A chimney fire started in my parents’ living room and, in a matter of moments, it took everything.

My parents, Daren and Beth Wiese, didn’t just lose a house — they lost their entire life inside those walls. Every photo, every memory, every keepsake, every piece of clothing, every document, every holiday decoration… all of it is gone. There is nothing left to save. Their home is beyond repair. Their belongings have turned to ash.

My dad built that house with his own hands. He owns a construction business and poured years of sweat, sacrifice, and long days into creating the home my mom had always dreamed of. My mom, a neurologist nurse practitioner, spent years caring for others — and now she’s standing in the ruins of the place that was supposed to be her safe space.

This was the house I grew up in.

Most of my childhood lived inside those walls. And now, even the smallest things are gone — my baby book, family photo albums, sentimental letters, souvenirs, and pieces of my past that can never be replaced. Things you don’t think about… until they’re all you wish you had back.

When people say “it’s just stuff,” they’re wrong. It’s everything that makes a life feel like a life. It’s your sense of safety. It’s your memories. It’s your past and your future wrapped into one place you call home.

Nothing can ever replace what was lost — but we’re asking for help to give my parents a chance to rebuild.

Right now, they are starting from nothing. Donations will go toward basic necessities like clothing, food, and temporary housing, as well as helping them begin the long, overwhelming process of putting their lives back together.

Asking for help feels heavy — but right now, we can’t do this alone, especially during the holiday season.
