Help Darcy Fight Stage 3 Vulvar Cancer

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out today to ask for your support for my best friend, Darcy. In August 2024, she received devastating news—she was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive Stage 3 Vulvar Cancer. Since then, she has been courageously battling this disease with everything she has.

In December 2024, Darcy underwent major surgery to remove the tumor. In addition to the tumor, doctors also removed 12 neighboring lymph nodes. One of these lymph nodes was found to be triple the size of a normal node, and pathological tests confirmed it was cancerous. Because of this, it remains unclear whether the cancer has spread to other organs in her body.

Due to the severity of her diagnosis, the medical team at UW-Madison determined that an aggressive chemotherapy and radiation treatment plan was necessary. Since January 2025, Darcy has been undergoing intense treatments, requiring her to travel back and forth to Madison five days a week. The cost of travel, medications, and everyday expenses is quickly adding up, creating an overwhelming financial burden.

Darcy is not just an incredible friend; she’s also a devoted mother to her two amazing boys. Her biggest worry isn’t just her health—it’s making sure she can continue to provide for her children while undergoing treatment. With mounting medical bills, time away from work, and daily expenses piling up, she needs our help now more than ever.

We are asking for donations to help cover:

Medical expenses, including treatments and medications

**Travel costs for her daily treatments at UW-Madison

**Daily living costs while she is unable to work

**Support for her two boys during this difficult time
