Support Darcie's Fight for Zoey's Safety

I am trying to raise funds for Darcie Sam to help her with attorney fees to ensure the safety of her child Zoey. Darcie is a full Navajo Native American. She is an amazing mother, caregiver, kind, loving, and one of the most beautiful people I have ever met. She is true to her culture and has been teaching her daughter Zoey, all about her culture. Zoey is half Navajo and half Scottish. Zoey is a beautiful, smart and caring kid.

Just last year Darcie's divorce and custody was finalized. After the judgement was read, the father of Zoey, attempted something selfish, and ended up in the hospital for months. With no word on his condition, Darcie told Zoey that he is in the hospital, and since then Zoey has had nightmares about her father. Through Therapy at school, Zoey has finally gotten to a place where she is stable and happy to go to school once again, and be a kid again.

Just last week, Darcie was served with court papers for a lawsuit against her, by her ex-husband, whom is attempting to get custody of Zoey. She has not heard from him or about him in over 3 months, and now he is suddenly back and suing Darcie for custody. While Darcie agrees he should have supervised visitations, he is going after for supervised by his family, that has only harassed Darcie since what happened.

I am helping Darcie, as I believe that upending Zoey's life, will result in more harm than good on the wellbeing and safety for Zoey. I am helping Darcie raise funds to afford an attorney, to help her ensure that Zoey is in a safe, loving, healthy environment. Anything helps as she goes through this process!
