Hi everyone. Our names are: Arianna, Amanda, and Grace. We’ve set up this fundraiser on behalf of Danyelle Kent-Robinson.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of both of her parents: her mother, Kimberly Robinson, on July 18th, and her father, Michael Kent, on August 15th. Their sudden passings came as a shock and has left her heartbroken. Danyelle is Kim’s only child, and is Michael’s eldest child and only daughter.

Furthermore, the same day her mom passed, she found out that she will be furloughed from DC public schools— effective October 1, 2025.

It’s been an unimaginably difficult and overwhelming time for her. Although there is not much any of us are able to say or do, this fundraiser is one way we can provide some reprieve and security for her.

Danyelle is also a mother herself, raising a 9-year-old daughter, Sadia, and doing her best to create a stable, loving life for her. However, this situation has knocked the wind out of her — emotionally, mentally, and financially.

The cost of taking time off work to navigate these losses, making arrangements, and caring for her daughter during this difficult time has been nearly impossible. She’s never been someone to ask for help like this, which speaks volumes to how big her heart is. She wants to give her mom and dad a proper goodbye and wants to continue showing up for her daughter without the weight of this financial crisis.

Our goal is to help cover the costs of: arrangements and rent and living expenses in the rising cost of living in the DC area for the next 3-6 months, to be safe, as she continues to search for a job.
