Danyelle is facing an unimaginable loss after her 17-year-old daughter, Daniyah Ford, was killed by gun violence this past weekend. I Camilo Lopez-Medina am fundraising this money to help Danyelle Ford with Daniyah's funeral and memorial. Danyelle and I have worked in the same classroom for the last year and a half. Danyelle is the beneficiary and will withdraw these funds directly to help with costs of the funeral and other memorial expenses. Daniyah was just 17, and her death has devastated Danyelle and her family as they try to process this tragedy and face the painful days ahead. She had a kind heart and was an amazing athlete, hard worker, smart, compassionate, and a beloved daughter and sister.

This fundraiser is to help Danyelle with the urgent expenses that come with this loss, including funeral services, memorial services, and other immediate needs for her family. Danyelle will also be out of work for a while as she grieves and handles arrangements, which adds even more pressure during an already heartbreaking time.
