My name is Dante and I’ve never had to resort to this before, but I feel I’ve run out of options and don’t know what else to do. I work as a caregiver at an elderly assisted living facility and have been very passionate about my job since starting two years ago. I’ve always seen myself as a kind compassionate person so I decided to make it my career and have thrived in the field since.

I’m currently going through a divorce and attempting to escape a domestic abuse situation. Recently, I was kicked out of my home and have nowhere to go until I can move into my new apartment starting on the 10th of June. I have friends who can help me for a couple of days, but I may have to resort to a hotel for my remaining time, and if so, I will not have enough money for my move-in costs. Though I am on the lease of the place I was kicked out from, I fear for my safety and well being as I have been enduring months of emotional abuse to the point I was going to attempt suicide in March.
