Support Dante: A SUNY Fredonia Student Capstone Film

Faced with the horrors of his past, a lowly scavenger must face a broken world and repair something in even worse shape - his mind.

What is Dante — and who are we?
We are students at the State University of New York at Fredonia producing our senior capstone short film, Dante.

Dante follows a lone survivor moving through the aftermath of a collapsed world. As he navigates abandoned towns, violent encounters, and psychological traps, he is forced to confront memories of a past relationship he has been carrying with him. The film blends post-apocalyptic survival with an internal reckoning about guilt, grief, and letting go.

Why donate?
We want to make the strongest film possible, and that requires resources beyond what a student production can provide alone.

Funds raised will go directly toward essential production needs, including craft services, props and wardrobe, locations, equipment support, and post-production costs such as sound design, color, and festival submission fees.

Every contribution helps us bring this story to the screen. If you support us, your name will be included in the film’s end credits, and we’ll share updates as the project moves forward.

Thank you for supporting independent student filmmaking.
