Help support Veteran after traumatic motorcycle accident
Donation protected
My son, Dan, was in a motorcycle accident through no fault of his own when an impaired uninsured driver decided to do an illegal u turn in front of him n change his life forever on May 8th. He has multiple facial and skull fractures, and also a TBI (traumatic brain injury). He had a major seven-hour surgery on May 16th, spent 16 days in ICU and remains hospitalized at Mercy Health main. He will have an extensive recovery period, including physical and occupational rehab and speech therapy that will last for months.
Dan is a fun-loving guy with a crazy sense of humor, who is a hard-working family man. He will go out of his way to help others and take the shirt off of his back. Dan is a proud veteran who served eight years in the Marine Corp and did three tours in the Iraq and Afghanistan war.
I hope we could all pitch in to alleviate some of his financial strain that he will incur through this long process.
Thank you all from Dan's family and friends.
