September 22, 2026 update from Dan:

Hello, everyone and thank you for continuing on with me in this journey.

I wanted to provide everyone with an update, and ask for any generosity that you can spare in this next chapter of my fight.

I’d like to thank everyone who helped me get to Spokane last month. During the procedure my world-class surgeon, Dr. Mejia, observed that my cancer had spread, unfortunately. Due to this, he made the decision to not follow-through with the full scope of the surgery. This was not the news that any of us were hoping for, however, I feel it is only right to have full disclosure with all of you. The focus of my fight has changed drastically due to this discovery.

My only option moving forward is a combination of chemo and immuno therapy. I no longer have the support-system in Montana to give this my 100% effort. In order to give everything that I have in this fight, I need my family to be at my side.

I am once again asking everyone for generosity in helping me say goodbye to Montana, and helping me make the move to Arizona where my family can be by my side while I continue my fight.

I am forever grateful for how you’ve all helped me thus far. I am kindly asking you again to donate to my cause, if you are able. This is my only chance at any shot of beating this terrible disease. I have always been an independent, strong person whom has a strong distaste for asking for any help. It takes true strength to say that I can’t continue fighting on my own. Please help me “call in the troops”, and allow my family to physically aid me in this fight. Thank you, and as always - FUCK CANCER!!!

Please Help Dan, Through His Cancer Battle

Hi everyone,

We are reaching out for help as a family for Dan. This is not something we ever imagined having to do, but our family is facing an incredibly difficult time.

Over the past few months, we’ve watched Dan’s health steadily decline, and it has now unfolded into a gut-wrenching diagnosis of cholangiocarcinoma. It’s incredibly hard to see your loved one, who has always been so strong and independent, struggle with something so overwhelming.

Recently, Dan was laid off from his job, and at the same time, his condition has worsened, leaving him unable to work due to the multiple procedures and their lingering side effects. Losing his income while fighting cancer has created a situation no one could have prepared for.

Dan has already faced numerous procedures. He’s been told to expect more in the near future, as well as oncology treatments to come. And while he is giving everything he has to fight this, the financial burden is crushing. Medical bills, treatments, medications, and the loss of income have made everyday expenses nearly impossible to manage.

Dan has always been an extremely hardworking man. He’s never been one to ask for help, and he takes great pride in supporting himself. That’s why, as his family, we are asking for this on his behalf.
