Hello, my name is Jamie Wight and I’m fundraising on behalf of Dan Navis and the Saturday morning Bittersweet Ski Patrol crew. Dan has been patrolling for over 30 years. He has volunteered to work at the Winter Olympics, both Salt Lake City as well as Vancouver. He’s been Hill Leader, a mentor to many, a friend to all, and has given countless thrilling courtesy toboggan rides to those too scared to ski down themselves. This past winter Dan was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and has started receiving treatments to help him fight it. A friend and fellow Ski Patrol donated his condominium in the Cayman Islands for Dan and Carolyn to stay in while they celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary next April. We are hoping to raise funds to help them with the airfare and other travel expenses that they will incur during their trip. Please help us show Dan and his wonderful family how much we appreciate them and send them to the Caribbean to have a great time. Thank you. God Bless.
