Hi, I'm Danny Cragg. You might know me from my work on Steven Universe and Adventure Time: Distant Lands and Fionna and Cake. My last animation job ended in 2022, and in 2024 I separated from my partners. Things have been bad. But I live in Durham, NC, and I love it here so much. I've made many wonderful friends and had a lifetime of beautiful and painful experiences the past 1.5 years. I work in the service industry right now and I love it, but I'm not making enough to live.

WHAT I NEED HELP WITH

Repairing my car, and rent/bills while i recover from a heart procedure.

MY CAR

My car has no ac. Last summer was a nightmare, and I'm terrified of summer to come. NC heat is no joke. I found out after inspection that my car is also incapable of cooling itself, so I'm at risk of blowing a gasket!

I've gotten a quote for $673 to repair my car.

MY HEART

I've had random heart palpitations all my life, and when it was caught during a visit to the urgent care in February, I was hospitalized! It took an overnight stay to be diagnosed with Supraventricular tachycardia- SVT.

Yesterday I had a procedure to fix my SVT- a catheter ablasion. They put me under, put a tube in my femoral artery and went up into my heart and burned the few cells that were triggering the electrical signals that were fucking me up.

I underestimated the recovery time for this procedure, though, and won't be able to work for about 2 weeks. I flat out can't pay rent or my bills. (Or afford medicine.)

That's about $900.

So I set this goal to be 2,000.

I spoke in my last GoFundMe about how repeatedly asking for help destroys the soul, and boy did I not want to repeat that experience. If you helped me previously this year, thank you so, so, so much. Thank you for listening, thank you for caring, thank you for sharing and for donating if you do.

With two weeks of mandatory taking it easy, I want to continue compiling and archiving all of my artwork from 2014-2019. I plan on making several volumes and posting them up on itch.io or gumroad, as well as sharing pieces on tumblr and insta.

I want to do more, to support myself and be a healthy, financially stable and reliable person. Thank you again.
