Danny is in remission and doing very well, but he’s not yet able to return to work. His doctors need to monitor his blood work for three months post-remission to ensure his immune system is functioning on its own before clearing him. The earliest he may return is June 8, but that could be delayed depending on his results.
In the meantime, his FMLA has run out, and the family is now living on a single income. Breanna is already working more than full-time hours while also caring for their toddler, and she’s stretched as far as she can go. They’ve also just learned that without FMLA, they must now pay out-of-pocket to keep their health insurance—about $1,400 every two weeks.
They’ve come so far and are on the upswing, but they still need support from their village. If you’re able to donate or even just share this post, it would mean so much to their family during this difficult time.
