Support Danny to stay in the country

This means that costs of visa is now covered, in saying that we’re still working out butts of to raise funds for lawyer fees. Danny’s story…

Hi, I’m Danny, and I want to start by saying thank you for being here. The fact that you’ve clicked on this means the world to me.

For the past six years, Australia has been more than just a place where I have lived - it’s become my home. I’ve built deep connections with the community, the land, and, most recently, with my beautiful love, Rachael.

After years of navigating complex visas, battling anxiety, and living with the constant fear of having to leave, I was close to giving up. If you have been through a similar situation, you know how not having security can destabilise everything. The uncertainty had become exhausting, and I thought maybe it was time to let go. However, the universe had other plans: enter Rachael.

I met Rachael through a mutual friend, and from our very first conversation, something clicked. I was upfront with her - I might have to leave by March. It felt like an impossible situation: how do you open your heart to someone when you don’t know if you’ll be allowed to stay? But Rachael’s love has been unwavering. She didn’t flinch. We decided to stay present with all that came up, to lean into the love, and see where it led.

Fast forward to now: our bond has grown deeper than I ever imagined. We've decided to apply for a partner visa, get married next month, and fully step into this beautiful life we're building together.

But here’s where I need your help.

The partner visa alone costs over $9,200, plus legal fees which cost $3,625 and to top it off, rain from a recent storm destroyed my computer - an essential tool for managing visa paperwork. These unexpected expenses have piled up fast, and it’s overwhelming.

Your support will not only help cover visa and legal costs but will also allow me to rebuild, find stability, and continue contributing to the community through my music, performances, yoga teaching, and creative offerings.

Once I step through this challenging situation, I will be able to allow my love to grow and flourish, eventually become a Permanent Resident of Australia, with full working rights and benefits that I have never had before. I will be able to invest my money, time, energy and skills in the direction of my highest dreams and aspirations and build towards the future.

I am so in love, happy and excited to feel a sense of stability that I have never known here in Australia and continue to give back to the community I love so much here.
