Wednesday night Danny was involved in a water accident that resulted in him going unconscious and being medi-flighted to Modesto for treatment. He had no feeling from his shoulders down. After meeting with a neurologist Thursday morning they decided the best treatment was for Danny to undergo a laminectomy with a spinal fusion. Surgery went well but Danny will be in the hospital until he is transferred to a rehab center. This has been extremely hard on everyone. As we all know Danny owns his own granite business and will be out of work for the foreseeable future. We are asking for any donations to help keep things afloat for the Shockley's during this time. There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing Danny is and if you’re lucky enough to know him then you know the feeling of absolute pure joy and love that he radiates when he enters a room. There’s nothing we want more than to keep that going! The Shockley’s have a business, farm and house to keep running while Danny recovers.
