Our good friend Danny was out surfing with his friends in Pacific City, Oregon this last weekend when an awful stroke of bad luck occurred and he dislocated and broke his ankle. He’s going to be out of commission for a long time, missing work, and faced with a long recovery journey before he can return to the things he loves. The goal of this fundraiser is to provide extra financial assistance while he recovers, to reduce anxiety about medical bills and cost of living, and to show him how much we love and care for him. If you’re a surfer, then you know just how devastating it can be to face an injury, especially going into a season that you’ve been anticipating all year.
