Danny Keane: Let's help the man who helps us all
Donation protected
Hey, Folks!
As I am sure most of you are already aware, one of our favorite people and his family have been enduring a very unexpected and difficult hardship.
In the early morning hours on Saturday, July 6th, 2024, Danny Keane was heading home to his family on his motorcycle. While traveling down Hamilton Avenue, a driver in a vehicle pulled out in front of him from the Tir Na Nog pub without any warning. This vehicle did not have any of the lights turned on. No headlights, taillights, or parking lights.
Despite a valiant attempt to avoid colliding with this unforeseeable danger, he was unable to do so. In an instant, his life changed forever. Danny suffered massive damage to his left leg. He broke his nose, three ribs, and suffered a nasty concussion.
He has already had to endure numerous surgeries and he will require a few more. In an attempt to recover the quality of life that was taken from him, he will then have to begin the arduous journey to recovery through physical rehabilitation.
Danny has spent a lifetime building a successful career as a business owner at American Auto Repair. As busy as he is, he is always fielding calls from people who ask for his help with a myriad of different problems. I speak from personal experience when I tell you that his phone NEVER stops ringing with calls from people who are seeking his help. And he never fails to do whatever is within his power to lend his assistance to these people in need.
He makes his living by working very hard, with his hands and his mind, to support his lovely wife Veronica and their wonderful daughter, whom we affectionately refer to by her nickname, Bean.
As you can imagine, this has also created a financial strain for him and his family. Medical bills, living expenses, and business expenses are creating a burden that require our help to see this family through this difficult time. You can't keep a good man down and I know that he will rise from the ashes of this calamity. Until he is back on his feet, let us follow the example that he has continuously set for us and answer the call. Your prayers and your donations would be deeply appreciated. Let's show this man, his family, and ourselves what community truly means in a country as great as the United States of America. Thank you all for your time and consideration regarding this important matter. Be well !
