Hi everybody.

My name is Danny Diaz. I'm 38 years old from Palmview, Texas in the Rio Grande Valley and was diagnosed with a rare form of T-Cell lymphoma nearly 2 years ago. I enjoyed a year in remission, but unfortunately, the lymphoma came back in September of 2025, and I'm scheduled to receive a donor bone marrow transplant at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. This transplant will require me to be inpatient for nearly one month and required to stay an additional 100 days nearby the hospital for close monitoring. My health insurance does not cover housing. Any amount you can give will go a long way in making sure I have a safe and comfortable stay within 1 or 2 miles of MD Anderson - as the 100-day recovery is the most important part of this journey. These 100 days are critical, as this is when my donor's stem cells are engrafting, and when I'll be on a heavy dose of immunosuppressants and other medications to manage my symptoms.
