Support Danny Conrad's Fight Against Cancer

My name is Danny Conrad. In 2020, I went through a divorce and have 2 young children I see every chance I get. My stepson is on a mission in Finland and is now an adult, which I’m grateful for. I have been trying to start my life over after my divorce and find stability at 53 years of age, which has proven to be difficult in many ways.

Earlier in the year, I began having symptoms which required me to get health insurance and begin seeking medical attention. After months of testing, MRI, PET scans, blood testing and different doctors, including specialists like urologists, I have been diagnosed with stage 3 cancer, in my prostate, and it has spread to at least my lymph nodes and seminal vesicles. My journey has only begun. I will begin bi-weekly treatments of hormonal therapy followed by removal of my prostate in 2-3 months, as soon as it's shrunk enough to do the surgery. I'll have to be referred to an oncologist through the urology who will have the ability and robotics to complete the surgery as well. They will also be doing more testing along the way and more treatments will be applied once the prostate is removed to see which direction this is going in other parts of my body.

The therapy is going to have quite a bit of effects including fatigue and I have not been able to find enough contractor work or work properly as it is. I have insurance but it only covers so much. I'm having a great challenge just providing for basic needs with all of the out of pocket medical expenses I still have. Any help for me on this journey would be greatly appreciated.
