Help Us Lay Our Beloved Danny "Boo Boo" to Rest

With heavy hearts, our family is reaching out to our community for support as we prepare to say goodbye to our beloved uncle, Danny — known affectionately by many as "Boo Boo."

Danny spent all his school years in Calexico and grew up in Las Pichoneras, where he built deep friendships and unforgettable memories. As the youngest of three siblings, he brought much light, laughter, and love into our lives.

He worked hard throughout his life, including at Plaster City and in the Panels. Despite his strong spirit and dedication to his family, Danny struggled with diabetes for many years, which eventually led to further health complications. This past Easter Sunday, our sweet Boo Boo lost his battle.

Our family is doing our best to give him the farewell he deserves, but the financial burden of funeral services has been overwhelming. We are humbly asking for any support, no matter how big or small, to help us cover the costs of laying Danny to rest with dignity and love.

If you knew Danny, you knew his kind heart and warm smile. And if you didn’t, we hope this message shares a glimpse of the incredible man he was.
