We're Danny and Grey! Two traumatized, neurodivergent and queer artists in the PNW. We are raising funds to help us move up closer to the SEATAC area, as our current rental is in a rural area detached from public transit, full of trauma, and making it difficult for us to function.
"You cannot heal in the same environment that made you sick"
Our current home is filled with trauma from a previous domestic violence situation, resulting in police intervention with holes in the walls and doors. We have months of trash build up in the garage from depression, and it's been generally uninhabitable and difficult to focus in our home. In order to better create and live life, we would love a fresh start in the city where we can access public transit and other necessities like our therapy office, dentist, and other doctor's appointments. It also offers us more job opportunities and access to community to rebuild after trauma. Any amount helps give us a fresh start and a new beginning!
We are looking to move ASAP, as our lease is up in July.

Goals
$800 pays our rent for one month
$1500 covers application fees for units + rent
$2500 covers previous tiers + junk fees and a U-Haul
$5000 Covers first and last month's rent and deposit + junk fees for getting rid of extra trash piled up due to depression, U-Haul, previous tiers
Stretch goal ($6k) covers any additional fees charged to us by our current rental for property damage caused by DV, gives us some additional time and breathing room to move into our new home
Danny is running this GoFundMe and will offer updates on here as well as thru social media as goals are met. We are both working full time to save any additional funds for this move, taking commissions, selling at local events and selling personal items on facebook marketplace to make up the difference, but it hasn't been enough to cover the astronomical moving fees on top of our monthly rent.
