My name is Danny, and I am creating this fundraiser for my wife, Ashley, and our family. Several weeks ago, Ashley, who is only 33, suffered three life-altering strokes. Since then, our world has been turned upside down. Ashley works as a Corrections Officer in Cambridge Springs, Pennsylvania, and while she is able to go on FMLA leave, she has no paid time left available. Over the last year, much of that time had already been used while we were dealing with ongoing challenges caring for our son. Things had already become overwhelming before this happened, and in April 2025 I had to close my local print and promo sign shop so I could be home and help care for our family. Now Ashley is unable to work, and after also having a seizure two weeks ago, she is not allowed to drive and needs frequent medical appointments.
We are doing everything we can to hold our family together, but right now we need help. Any funds raised will go toward prescription co-pays, gas so I can drive Ashley to her appointments and take our four children to theirs as well, and basic household bills like our mortgage, car payment, utilities, and even garbage service, which has lapsed because of how tight things have become. We are not people who find it easy to ask for help, but so many have told us, “If there’s anything we can do, please ask,” and this is me finally doing that. If you are able to support our family, please know it is truly needed and deeply appreciated. When we are back on our feet, we fully intend to pay that kindness forward.
