We are starting this GoFundMe for our friend Danni Chun. Danni is more than just a friend; she is part of our ohana, she’s family. Danni went home to Hawaii for her birthday and came back to Washington to a disaster in her house. While she was gone, a water leak in her kitchen resulted in a flooded townhouse. Her bedroom, which is directly below the kitchen, was flooded, the ceiling collapsed, and everything was ruined.

The insurance company has put her claim on hold. The longer it waits, the more damage is done. But even after insurance pays out, it won’t even cover the full cost of cleanup. Most of the rebuild will be out of pocket.

We are hoping to raise funds to help with her immediate needs and to help reduce the overall financial burden.
