My name is Danna Garcia Esquivel, and I am a junior at Stamford High School with a deep interest in political science and international relations. I'm incredibly honored to share that I've been accepted into the Yale Young Global Scholars, a highly selective academic program hosted by Yale University that brings together students from over 150 countries to study global challenges and leadership.
This opportunity means a lot to me. YYGS offers the chance to learn directly from leading professors, collaborate with students from different backgrounds, and engage in discussion about some of the most important issues facing our world today. As someone passionate about public service, policy, and global leadership, this experience would help me deepen my understanding of international issue and prepare me for my future academic and career goals.
Throughout high school, I've worked hard to pursue my interests and make an impact in my community. I'm involved in advocacy work and community initiatives. Opportunities like these have shaped my commitment to creating a positive change, and YYGS would allow me to expand that work on a global scale.
To help make this opportunity possible, I'm raising $4,000 to cover the remaining cost of attending the program this summer. Any support, whether through a donation or by sharing this fundraiser, would mean so so much to me and would help me take part in this incredible academic experience.
Thank you for supporting my educational journey and helping me take this next step towards my goals!
