With heavy hearts, we share the heartbreaking news of our beloved father, Dharmendra Panigrahi, who passed away unexpectedly due to health complications. His sudden loss has shattered our world, leaving us not only with immense grief but also with an uncertain future.

Our father was our everything—our biggest cheerleader, our protector, and the pillar of our family. No matter how difficult times got, he always put us first, especially our education. He worked tirelessly to ensure that we had every opportunity to chase our dreams. Now, with him gone, we are left navigating not just our sorrow, but also the overwhelming challenge of continuing the future he so deeply believed in for us.

I am Danisha Panigrahi, a freshman at UC Berkeley, and my younger sister, Aneesha Panigrahi, is just starting high school. With our father’s sudden passing, we are now facing significant financial hardships that threaten our ability to stay on the path he worked so hard to build for us.
