Dani was recently hospitalized and diagnosed with Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD). This disease causes crystals/stones to build up in his bladder and urethra, which can become deadly. After a scary few days in the hospital he made a great recovery and we were able to bring him home. Dani is now on a strict prescription diet that helps to dissolve any build ups that may occur, but male cats that have this happen to them are prone to it happening again in their life.

Lucky there is a surgery where Dani can have his urethra enlarged so that these crystals/stones will just pass. This way there is no risk of a blockage happening again.
