hi, i'm daniel! i'm a meditation practitioner with over 12 years of personal practice experience, including over 7 months of silent retreat practice, and i've been teaching meditation for the past several years.
this fall, i'm teaching the second cohort of my course "meditation fundamentals: practicing for a free heart." here's what some students in the first cohort said about it:
- “Daniel has been patient and encouraging every step of the way… His gentle approach has given me the confidence to finally figure out what actually works for me... This class has been a true turning point in my spiritual journey. ” — Mary Zoso
- “His authentic, friendly guidance helped me develop a sustainable meditation practice. I continue to learn from his example of kindness and generosity.” — Alex Heller
- “Through his class, my practice has become significantly more easeful and fun.” — Katy Kelly
- “Daniel has an incredible way of communicating ideas in a down-to-earth and heart-warming way. He oozes loving kindness in every meeting.” — Vijay
- “I felt very welcome and was looking forward to my class every weekend.” — Niki
this course includes 8 weeks of group sessions, and weekly one-on-one coaching calls for all participants. i feel this level of support is the best way to help beginning meditation practitioners establish a practice that can really benefit them (and all beings) deeply.
the standard rate i ask of students for this course is $750, but i offer a sliding scale down to $300, and reserve at least 8 spots (out of ~20) for students who need even more financial support.
for thousands of years, meditation teachings have been regarded as invaluable, and many cultures support the practice of deep practitioners through generous giving. i keep my course financially accessible for students because there are so many who can deeply benefit from these practices but don't have money to spare. at the same time, teaching this class is close to a full time job, so i do need financial support in order to sustainably teach.
and so i'm asking: will you donate to the meditation fundamentals scholarship fund? this will allow more students to receive deep and meaningful support for their practice, and will sustain my ability to be of service in this way.
