My name is DANIEL, and I recently underwent a kidney transplant after experiencing kidney failure caused by high blood pressure. This has been a life-changing event for me and my family. While I am incredibly grateful for the chance at a healthier future, the recovery process means I will be out of work for almost two months. Anyone who knows me knows how proud of a man that I am. Ever since I was 19 I’ve always worked multiple jobs…even after going into kidney failure and doing dialysis 4-5 times a week for almost 2 years. I always did whatever it took to put food on the table, but unfortunately, that is not an option for me right now. At the urging of my loving mother, I am here seeking your help. During this time, the bills don’t stop coming. I have two young children, ages six and five, and I want to make sure they have everything they need while I focus on healing. Thankfully, their mothers are doing a great job of picking up the slack, but even while I recover, I want to be able to help as much as I could. Additionally, my older sister is now living with me and she is permanently unable to work due to health complications. The funds raised here will go directly toward covering essentials that keep our household running. Because I am not supposed to drive for at least six weeks, working is not an option right now, which makes things even more challenging. Any support, no matter the amount, would mean the world to me, my kids, and my family. Your kindness and generosity will help us get through this difficult time and allow me to focus on my recovery so I can return to providing and caring for my children. Thank you for reading my story and considering a donation.
