Support Daniel’s Fight Against Colon Cancer

Hello Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

On behalf of our entire family, we bring a story that's part resilience, part love, and unfortunately, part cancer. Meet Daniel, a vibrant 47-year-old, husband to Ashley, and father to the amazingly talented and beautiful Caroline. Tuesday, October 24th, 2023, Daniel was diagnosed with Colon Cancer. Yes, it sounds scary, and it is, but if you know Daniel, he has a ridiculously positive outlook on life. What's most impressive is he’s doing it, knowing it will get worse before it gets better.

The Power of Positivity:

Daniel's journey through this began with what he thought was a stubborn stomach ache. After fighting the pain for days, he realized something wasn't quite right. The mystery tour of tummy troubles pushed Ashley to finally force him to go to the emergency room for a visit, which after a couple days and several tests, revealed his cancer. It was impressive that he carried something that significant for so long. What followed was a whirlwind of events – meeting a fantastic Oncologist, and a surgery that involved a team of wonderful doctors and surgeons. Shout out to all the specialists for not just removing the 'uninvited guest' but doing so with such skill that Daniel was spared a major scar. The pathology results came in after some very tense days, and it's the best-case scenario given the circumstances. The cancer could’ve been much more aggressive however was contained and removed in time but because it's a bit of a stubborn one, Daniel will start a journey of several several weeks of chemotherapy.

But here's where Daniel shines. Even as he stands at the starting line of a chemo marathon, his spirit remains unshaken. His optimism? Unwavering. And while the road ahead might be tough, we know he’s tougher.
