Our father Daniel has been on a difficult journey battling esophageal cancer since being diagnosed in August 2024. Over this past year, he has had to relearn how to eat and make major lifestyle changes in because of the effects the cancer has had on his digestive system.

Towards the end of June 2025, Daniel will undergo major surgery involving total removal of his stomach and 80% of his esophagus to remove cancerous portions not responsive to chemotherapy. It will be a long and challenging road to recovery.

Daniel is a loving husband of over 38 years, Air Force veteran, father of two, and one of the kindest people who always puts his family and loved ones first. He’s a long time practitioner of Tai Chi and dog lover.
