Hi, my name is Edward Kunkel and I'm creating this GoFundMe for my daughter, Danielle. She is a student at Varella Sr. High. She is in the vet magnet, poultry division.

She's trying to help raise funds to get the outdoor cover for the poultry area replaced. It was destroyed last year by tropical force winds, which ripped it off, and we have been waiting since 2024-2025 school year to have it replaced. The public school system said they would replace it, but no specific date has been given.

Currently, with the rain and wind, the chicken coop area is consistently wet. The chickens are getting wet, and she is concerned that the APA (American Poultry Association) blue ribbon award-winning chickens that are currently housed there, along with her State Fair 1st place award-winning chickens. We are hoping they don't get sick and die because of the inclement weather.

Any and all money donated will be used to improve the living conditions of all the poultry that live at the school. Funds will be used to replace the cover on the poultry area, as well as replace the fans that help circulate the air during the day, which helps keep the area cool, and cages that also need to be replaced.
