Hi my name is Danielle and I am currently enrolled in Purdue Northwest University nursing program. Mahatma Gandhi quote best describes my passion. Nursing and caring for others has been my desire since childhood. At the tender age of twelve, I would administer medications to my grandmother. This brought me tremendous joy helping her feel better and seeing the happiness on her face was priceless. It was then that I realized I wanted to spend my life helping people in this way.

My journey to becoming a nurse has not been easy. The bumps in the road keep coming; “you exhausted your student loans opportunities”; savings for school are drained; and basically no funding to move forward. I have applied for many scholarships to no avail. Though, the road is rocky, my persistence and determination is in full speed ahead. It is not easy for me to ask for assistance on a public site as such. But with my deadline (December 11, 2024) drawing near the need to do something weighs heavy on me.

The funds I am trying to raise will cover a portion of tuition, books and fees for the next five months. That would allow me to focus on funding for the spring semester, with the new year, comes new options and hopefully new opportunities. Any and every donation is greatly appreciated…big or small.
