My mom was recently diagnosed with secondary renal lymphoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. She will soon be starting what could be up to 6 months of chemotherapy, which will be very tough on her body and prevent her from being able to work during treatment.

A few years ago, she fought and beat lymph node cancer, showing just how strong and determined she is. Now she’s facing another challenge, and I want to make sure she doesn’t have to go through it while also worrying about day to day expenses.

While insurance helps with most of the medical costs, there are many other expenses that quickly add up—things like groceries, gas for appointments, and household bills. My mom has always been someone who puts others first, and now she needs support more than ever.

She doesn’t know that I started this GoFundMe, because she’s the type of person who never wants to ask for help or accept outside support. But I know how much of a difference it would make for her to not have to worry about finances while she focuses on her treatment and recovery.

I’m starting this fundraiser to help ease the financial burden so she can focus on her health and healing without the constant stress of how to cover everything. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference and help give her the peace of mind she deserves.
