I'm Sue LeMay and I am trying to raise money for my daughter Danielle to help her with her medical bills after going through an emergency situation that landed her in Massachusetts General Hospital SICU for a couple of days.

Over the last 3 months, she has been in and out of doctors' offices dealing with some women's health issues. While camping with her family and son, Lucas, her body finally decided to stop compensating, and she ended up hemorrhaging, and then collapsed on the floor. Everything happened in front of Lucas. We could not stop her from bleeding out quickly, and 911 was abruptly called.

She was quickly assessed then just as fast, transported to Anna Jacques Hospital where she received 12 bags of blood. They ended up running out of blood, and she was crashing quickly; going into hemorrhagic shock, so they made the call and had her med flighted to Massachusetts General Hospital.

I had gone with her on the transport, and she was crashing so quickly that at one point she had no blood pressure or pulse. Once she arrived at Massachusetts General Hospital, she was greeted by 15 doctors and nurses who brought her back to transfuse more blood and prepare her for emergency surgery.

She had a couple day stay in the SICU at Mass General, and was discharged home. She will be out of work now for an unknown amount of time, but they have yet to figure out the cause of her bleeding to this day, and she has a future filled with multiple follow-up appointments. Hopefully, they will be able to figure out the cause, so it doesn't happen this badly again.

I am hoping to help set her up with help with her medical bills since they're piling up, and she still has to support her son with what she has right now. Any donations she will be so grateful for, and extremely appreciative. We are helping her as much as we can with Lucas, but there is only so much we can do. She has a road to recovery ahead of her, and crossing our fingers that this doesn't happen again.
