Help Support a Beloved Hairstylist During Her Recovery
If you’ve had the privilege of knowing Danielle Ballard, you know she is the first to show up for others. As a self-employed hairstylist, she has spent years caring for her clients like family while faithfully serving her church, her loved ones, and her community with a generous heart.
Today, everything changed.
She suffered a heart attack and is now facing a long road to recovery. While we are incredibly grateful she is receiving the medical care she needs, the reality is that being self-employed means there is no paid time off, no employer-sponsored disability benefits, and no steady paycheck while she heals.
As a salon owner and sole proprietor, her financial responsibilities don’t stop. Salon rent, insurance premiums, and everyday living expenses continue even while she is unable to stand behind the chair and earn an income. Returning to a career that requires long hours on her feet will take time, and her focus right now needs to be on healing—not worrying about how the bills will be paid.
This November, she is looking forward to one of life’s greatest blessings: becoming a grandmother for the very first time. Our prayer is that these next few months will be filled with healing, strength, and hope so she can fully embrace that precious new chapter with her grandson.
If you are able, we humbly ask for your prayers first and foremost. We believe deeply in the power of prayer. If you are also in a position to give financially, any amount—large or small—will help ease the burden of medical expenses, business overhead, and daily living costs while she recovers.
Thank you for surrounding her with the same love, kindness, and generosity that she has shared with so many throughout the years. Every prayer, every donation, and every message of encouragement means more than words can express.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
