Hi my name is Danielle Simpson I’m 24 years old & have been struggling my whole life with Sickle Cell Anemia which is a disease that attacks your joints with severe aches & pains due to the lack of oxygen in a sickles blood cells. Right now I am at a point where I have no more savings nor do I have any income in my life my siblings & parents have done the best they can to help me but it’s come to a point where I have to reach out to others outside of my family for financial help. It’s scary asking for help because of the idea of being perceived as “begging” & poor but the truth is I am begging. I’ve been severely depressed for a while now really since I developed carpal tunnel/ nerve damage in my left hand due to malpractice @ a place I never thought I’d feel unsafe at, which caused me to no longer be able to do hair which allowed me to provide for myself. I’m not sure how much longer I can go about living this way. I haven’t received my treatments in 4 months now which is also causing me to be more of a frequent flyer in the hospital that also contributes to me being stressed due to not being on top of my health I have no money for doctors visits let alone for rent, utilities, food, & basic necessities. I am asking that you all keep me in your prays because this too shall pass & in the mean time I’m starting this to raise funds so I can get the medical treatments I need in order to maintain my health during this stressful time.
